About the presenters

Jacqueline Williams, Head of Development, The Wheeler Centre

Jacqueline is an experienced development executive and capital campaign consultant with demonstrated history in major gifts fundraising. Skilled in diversifying income streams, team building, board activation, volunteer management, strategic thinking and best practice implementation, Jacqueline has helped build sustainable fundraising futures for arts and educational institutions over twenty years. She has served on a number of arts boards and committees, including current positions with Theatre Networks Australia and Ballarat Foto Biennale. She believes strong giving relationships are pivotal to fundraising success. She lives between Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

Callum Close, Philanthropy Manager, Sydney Symphony Orchestra

Callum’s career in the arts spans across roles as fundraiser, administrator, board director and practitioner. Callum is currently Philanthropy Manager (Major Gifts) at the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and prior to this spent nearly five years at Musica Viva Australia in various roles across development, operations and artist development. Following a music performance degree majoring in Pipe Organ and Choral Conducting, Callum entered the sector with a passion for facilitating connection between practitioners and the community. Callum is an experienced fundraiser, networker, relationship manager, CRM specialist (Tessitura) and has been a consultant to community arts organisations to assist in diversifying  contributed revenue streams and building strategy.
